Dr. Lexie Endo

Dr. Lexie Endo grew up in the Bay Area. She earned her B.S. and M.S. from Stanford and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California at Davis in 1982. She has worked here in the East Bay for the last 17 years and prior to that she worked in the Sacramento area. She works with the Lindsay Wildlife Museum and specializes in chelonian rescue, taking in injured and unwanted turtles and tortoises. She and her husband Barney, a Mortgage Banker and Hotel/Casino Don live in Orinda and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Her oldest daughter Steph and her husband Matt are attorneys in Lafayette. They have a 1 ½ year old daughter, Sophie. Janelle is a former Raiderette and a 2005 UC Berkeley graduate. She presently works for Google and got married this past year. She and her husband Nick live in Walnut Creek. Cayla is a 2007 graduate of Villanova University. She is an equestrian event rider and competed at the Fair Hill 3 star and Rolex 4 star events this past year. Kyle is an artist, film producer, deejay, jewelry designer, clothing designer and get this, a professional dodge ball player! He lives and works in Los Angeles. Dina is a sophomore at USC and enjoys the Trojan lifestyle. She has taken up running and finished first in her gender/age group at the Big Sur Half Marathon. Their household includes 1 dog, 2 cats, a bird, 3 horses, koi and over 200 turtles and tortoises. With her spare time (what spare time?), Lexie enjoys quilting, needlepoint and grooming at horse shows.
